In the belief of building a stronger community for all, Bertram puts importance on the effects of its environmental footprint. At the Bertram factory, a new solar powered roof with an on grid system that is connected to the power system (does not use batteries) has been installed. This development has allowed Bertram to produce 1,160,000 kilowatts of energy and by using energy saving light bulbs equates to 4,600,000 Thai baht savings in electric bills per year. Most importantly, Bertram is proudly able to reduce its carbon footprint by 620,000 kilograms which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide intake from 62,000 trees.
